Accra-based referee Oscar Dionde has revealed he received an acid attack after he rejected a match-fixing offer to manipulate a Division Two League game in Accra.
However, Greater Accra Regional Football Association Division Two League Board chairman George Aforklenyuie has denied the claims and explained the version of the RFA.
In his allegations, the referee claims Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman, Samuel Aboabire – popularly known as Kataa, and Aforklenyuie asked him to officiate a match alone despite his assistant referees being unavailable for the match.
