Legon Cities new signing Victorien Adebayor does not fancy playing for big teams.
The 24-year-old former Inter Allies goal poacher returned to the Ghana Premier League, months after leaving Allies.
Adebayor joined the Royals on loan from Danish side HB Koge.
The striker was being chased by both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak but opted to join Legon Cities.
He however explains the reason behind his decision.
“Hearts and Kotoko are big clubs and I don’t like big teams, I like smaller teams and I’m ready for challenges like that and that helps my career too,” he said at his unveiling.
“They are down in the league and Legon Cities know why they came for me and so my target is to help the team as much as I can,” added the striker.
The Nigerien International will be eligible to play for Legon Cities in the second half of the season.
