Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Yogot has denied that he copied Yaa Pono’s type of comic rap in his hottest one.
The rapper, whose present tune with Kuame Eugene is earning waves throughout the nation produced the assertion in a dwell radio interview on Darling Fm’s Prime 30 Countdown exhibit above the weekend at Cape Coastline.
“Yaa Pono is my senior. I have stayed with him in advance of and I even labored with him on my ‘Bitter Sweet’ job. I figured out from him and I agree there are some similarities in the way we rap but I did not copy him. I have been doing this style for more than 11 decades underground.”
“I am recognized by all my lovers as the Rap Comedian and it arrives naturally. My model of rap is distinctive from Yaa Pono’s, I did not duplicate him,” he included.
He nevertheless thanked Ghanaians for their unflinching help and as this kind of pleaded with all and sundry to continue to keep supporting his craft.
Kwame Yogot visited all radio stations in Cape Coastline on March 6, 2021, to advertise “Biibi Besi”, a new single featuring Kuami Eugene.
