The NPP MP for Tolon Constituency, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu has paid out the university service fees of some 150 students in his constituency following productively launching the Soya-Lana Instructional Believe in Fund.
The fund is focusing on all pupils in the Tolon Constituency primarily brilliant but needy and bodily challenged woman college students.
Speaking at the start, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu explained the fund seeks to “provide financial guidance to amazing but needy tertiary college students in the Tolon constituency and aid entry to scholarships the two local and intercontinental.
He extra that the fund will deliver advice and counseling providers pertaining to training and career choices to learners in the constituency and presents remedial tuition and registration of personal WAEC evaluation for SHS leavers in the constituency to far better their grades.
The academic fund, the very first of its kind in the constituency is envisioned to benefit over 1000 pupils.
Alhaji Habib Iddrisu who is also the Deputy Bulk Main Whip states no pupil will be still left out including that scholarships have been secured for some 25 college students to pursue different programs in some tertiary establishments.
Provision of motor bikes to several offices
After the launch of the Educational Fund, the MP also donated 20 motorbikes to a variety of departments in the Tolon District such as the District Educational Place of work, the District Law enforcement Headquarters, the District Wellness Directorate, the District Health Insurance policy Place of work among others.
This was to aid the work of officers in the constituency and increase the doing the job ecosystem.
“My objective is to see to growth in Tolon and l will do what l can to assist make improvements to it,” the MP added.
Anti snake venom
With the onset of the dry time, most residents in the Tolon Constituency are prone to snake bites.
To this impact, the MP also donated 50 anti-snake venoms to the Tolon Health Centre to enable with treatment.
